The SA Skills Development Academy is a start-up non-profit company which aims to bridge the skills gap among youth in our community by providing high-quality, relevant training programs. Our mission is to equip young individuals with both technical and soft skills necessary for successful employment in today’s dynamic job market.
Our vision is a world where every learner has access to the support and mentorship necessary to thrive personally and professionally. We aspire to create inclusive pathways to success, cultivating a generation of well rounded, resilient individuals who are empowered to make a positive impact on their communities and beyond.
In partnership with Engineering Africa, we hope to equip young people from diverse backgrounds by providing accredited skills, together with mentorship and support to foster skills development, career opportunities and personal growth. In doing this we create a pathway for young people to access the economy and obtain jobs in a measurable way. We will begin in the engineering sector in Gauteng and expand our reach to other sectors, and provinces as we progress.
Mr William Plaatjies has demonstrated a deep commitment to fostering talent and creating opportunities for those in need. He is now embarking on a mission to expand his impact by establishing a non-profit organization aimed at providing educational support, mentorship, and guidance to young people.
